Hawaii

Okay, I'm lumping all of my Hawaii layouts into one post. Just easier for me that way.

There are multiples of some pages, because I used Close to my Heart's flip flap memory protectors. These are 4x6 photo protectors that have a flap and adhesive so that you can put several together and make a little flip book. Adhere it right to your page and voila! Lots of pictures on your standard 12 x 12 layout. Sorry for the glare but they are difficult to photograph when they are in the protectors. And the layouts for all three of these pages are from the Moon Doggie Workshop on the Go.

The second page has the flip flaps protectors (2 of them for an additional 4 photos):

Here again, the second page has the flip flap protectors (another 2 for an additional 4 photos on the page)

On this one, the first page has one protector, the second page has 2 protectors.

PTI Challenge Day 5--Emboss Resist

I thought I'd play along with Nichole Heady and the Day 5 Challenge. The challenge is to use the emboss resist technique. Since I need Valentine's day cards I thought I would try making one for my husband. Seeing the finished project however makes me think I should add some stickles and give it to my daughter instead. She would appreciate the pink much more. LOL.

Supplies:
Paper: Hibiscus burst from PTI; Colonial White from CTMH
Ink: Sweet Blush, Hibiscus, and Dark Chocolate from PTI, Bamboo from CTMH
Stamps: Heart from PTI (Heart Prints), Large corner swirl and Love text from CTMH, music stamp from Gina K

Eating a sandwich?!

This is a picture of my son eating a wrap. Now before you think I'm nuts, scrapbooking a picture of my son eating a wrap, you have to understand, my son does not do this. He doesn't like many combo foods, things have to be separated into individual components. The kids had been out playing in the kiddie pool, and we came in to have lunch. Suddenly I saw my son eating the wrap whole. He didn't open it up and start eating each part individually; he ate it WHOLE. I had to scrapbook it. :)

Papers: Close to my Heart, Bazzill
Ribbon: PTI
Stickers: Basic Grey

Who me? Couldn't be...

This is an old picture of my son. But it was one of those "gotta scrapbook" pictures. His highchair tray was on the dining room table and some newspapers were placed on it. In the other room, I hear this clatter and came running to find this. He now loves this book "Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?" and we play this game often, so it seemed like an appropriate title.

PALs Challenge

Okay. I think I'm back!

I've joined a PTI challenge group, Papertrey PALs. We have PTI challenges every 2 weeks. And I'm woefully behind. Our first pallenge was brought to us by Ted. We were to incorporate PALS into our project somehow. I struggled with this one, and finally just settled on a card that my daughter could give to a friend if she wants to.

Supplies:
Paper: Dark Chocolate, Aqua Mist from Papertrey Ink; Colonial white from CTMH
Stamps: CTMH
Ink: Dark Chocolate & Aqua Mist from Papertrey Ink
