Finally. Here it is.
I did several things with this card. First I stamped the outline of the flower (from Papertrey Ink's Beautiful Blooms) with Hibiscus burst ink. The solid image was first inked in Sweet Blush ink, then rocked in Berry Sorbet ink. The center was stamped with Berry Sorbet. The leaves were stamped with Spring Moss ink. Then I used an aqua painter to paint Ripe Avocado Ink for shadows. The sentiment "Grandmother" (from Papertrey Ink's Women of Life) was stamped with Hibiscus burst ink.
The central image was matted with Hibiscus burst paper. The patterned paper was created using the flowers from Beautiful Blooms and stamped with Sweet blush and 2nd generation hibiscus burst inks on sweet blush paper. This paper was matted with hibiscus burst paper. The card base is Sweet blush as well.
The ribbon is fresh snow polka dot organdy ribbon that was dyed with hibiscus burst ink. [TANGENT: This is a great use of reinkers. I buy organdy ribbons, felt die cuts, and threads in white and use reinkers to dye them to match my projects. Now back to your regularly scheduled card.] The pin & beads are from my stash.
I think that covers it! Thanks for visiting!
Cindy
Beautiful! :D
