Father's Day

Um, yeah. Father's day snuck up on me. Is there a holiday or birthday that doesn't? Maybe I just need to use a post it on my forehead.

So here are some Father's day cards. Just inching by to say....(inside) Happy Father's Day. First one for my dh, second for my dad, and third is a robot one from the kids that says DAD (inside) you're out of this world. My dd added the stickles to the robot.

Paper, twine and ink from Papertrey Ink (Ocean Tides, Aqua Mist, Plum Pudding, Hibiscus, Spring Rain), caterpillar, just inching by, DAD, and happy father's day stamps from Papertrey Ink. All stamps on the robot card from Technique Tuesday. Aqua Mist button from Papertrey Ink, "ocean tides" button from craft supply.

And I think there you have it. This month's Papertrey Ink blog hop on the 25th intrigues me, so assuming I have some time this weekend I'll post for that next week, and I think it will be a scrapbook page. I love scrapbook pages and haven't done enough of them recently.

And my apologies. I'm not sure this post made any sense!

Dance recital gift

I forgot to post this earlier. We opted not to do the traditional flowers thing for a gift for our daughter's first recital. Instead I found this cute fairy charm and turned it into a necklace for her.

The tin is a small hinged tin from Papertrey Ink. The star stamp and sentiment stamp are from Papertrey Ink as well. The trail from the star is from Technique Tuesday. The ink is hibiscus burst from Papertrey Ink. And I used fruit punch stickles for the glitter. She loves the necklace, but I think she loves the box even more. :)
