Valentines for the kids

These are the valentines we will be giving to our kids this year. I thought the heart balloons would make excellent valentines for a 5 year old and 3 year old. They are simple cards, but hey they're 5 and 3, it's not about the card, it's about the candy in the basket. HaHa!

Supplies
CS: Papertrey Ink
Ink: Ocean Tides, Spring Rain, Raspberry Fizz, & Berry Sorbet from Papertrey Ink
Stamps: Heart Prints from Papertrey Ink
Ribbon: Raspberry Fizz satin and Spring Rain Twill from Papertrey Ink
Flexible Wire from my stash

Teacher Valentines

This is a sample of the valentines my kids will give to their teachers. They are based on the Ghirardelli boxes on SplitcoastStamper. I've altered them a bit so that 5 filled squares of chocolate would fit instead of their 4 unfilled chocolates.

This will be a valentine for one my 3 year old's teacher. My 5 year old will get to choose her patterned paper and stamp for the front. Now just how many more to make? Oh yeah, 3 for my 3 year old's teachers, and 6 for my 5 year old's teachers (includes dance teachers/assistants & pianist as well).

Whew.

Supplies:
CS: Dark Chocolate (PTI), Colonial White & Twilight (CTMH)
PP: MME
Stamp: CTMH
Ink: Twilight (CTMH)

PTI Sketch Challenge

I know. You're shocked. I'm posting too soon. I apologize, and will try to make sure it happens much more often in the future. LOL.

This is a transparency card made using the sketch from the Papertrey Ink sketch challenge. I cut the rectangles of vintage cream cardstock out with my nestabilities that had been inked with Ocean tides ink from pti. The flourish on the left is stamped with PTI's fresh snow pigment ink on the transparency itself. Let me say I am SO happy with this white ink and even how well it stamped on the slick acetate. Just a wonderful ink to use!!!

I'm not quite sure what made me think of a sympathy card, other than I hadn't used the With Sympathy set yet. Sympathy cards aren't one of those things I tend to have on hand, mostly because when I do need them, I prefer to make them very individualized. At least I don't have an immediate need for this one, that will give the pigment ink time to dry!! HaHa!

Inside of the card

Supplies:
Cardstock: Vintage Cream, Ocean Tides, Pure Black all from PTI
Ink: Fresh Snow, Ocean Tides, & Summer Sunrise (PTI)
Stamps: With Sympathy PTI
Sparkles from CTMH
Martha Stewart Butterfly punch (EK Success)
Ribbon: Ocean Tides stitched ribbon from PTI
Acetate: 3M

PTI Color Challenge

Racing a bit to get my color challenge card in. The challenge is to use Ripe Avocado, Pure Poppy, Summer Sunrise, & Ocean Tides in one project.
Sorry for the quality of the pics, but even in NM we don't have sunshine at 10PM at night! LOL.

inside the card:

Most is self-explanatory. I used Liquid Glass to give the hearts a shiny 3d feel (to look like balloons). This is my husband's anniversary card. SSSSHHHHHHH!!!!

Supplies:
Ink, ribbon, CS, stamps: PTI
flexible wire: stash
liquid glass: ctmh

Hello friend

Let me first say I'm not sure I like this card. I don't know if it's because it is so very bright, so not me, or because I just think it's bad. I don't know. The colored image has been sitting on my desk for several weeks (colored during a warm spell) and I just haven't felt like doing a spring card. But I'm trying to clear my desk, so I decided it was time. Maybe that's why I don't like it, I'm not in a spring mood. The picture isn't the best, blah, blah, blah. :)

Supplies
Stamps: Autumn Leaves
Markers: Copics
Ink: CTMH
Stickles
Liquid Glass (CTMH)
Brads: Bazzill
White CS: Papertrey Ink
Green CS: Bazzill bling
Ribbon: stash

LOL, hopefully I'll be more myself soon. Thanks for visiting!

Sorry

Sorry I've been missing in action. Things got very crazy around here and I spent some time with the family.

I should be back soon!
